Riverspoons Studios Han Solo Custom Pop! Figure

“Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side kid.” - Han Solo

When I think about Han Solo, first thing comes to my mind is this iconic pose! Since Funko haven’t done this yet I decided to push through with this project. I am really glad this figure turned out just like what I’ve imagined. Han shot first!

Riverspoons Studios Son Gokou Custom Pop! Figure

“I have the power of nature in me. A man's true strength comes from the world. I won't let you take ours away for your own greed. ” - Son Gokou

I was really amazed when I saw Bruno Camara’s 3D fan art of Gokou on Deviantart. I got really inspired by it and I just knew one day I had to make one in Pop! form based from his art. The base figure I used is Young Gokou head in Nimbus cloud and Drax Body. Majority of the details were sculpted in. It was tough to fit it all of the details but I’m glad I was able to pull it off. I also used real wood for his Power pole. I was fun working on this project while listening to “Chala Head Chala!”

Riverspoons Studios The Joker & Harley Kitty Custom Pop! Figure

“I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse”

Probably one of the bizarre crossover I made, since Batman first appeared in comics in 1939 at the period of Mafia Mobs. I guess It was a perfect era for Joker to be into. I also turned Don Corleone’s Cat to Harley for fun sake.

Riverspoons Studios Metal Gear Solid V Venom Snake Custom Pop! Figure

It was nice to revisit this character for the second time, three years ago I’ve work on a one sixth scale Venom Snake. This time around now in Pop! scale, I used a Steve Hiller Pop! as my base figure. Everything else is sculpted over, I tried my best to squeeze in all the details on this tiny body. I also added a real fabric to match the his overall look from the game, and finally, it was carefully hand painted. Really glad how this project turned out, Snake really deserves his own Pop! figure.

Riverspoons Studios Rey with X-Wing Helmet Custom Pop! Figure

In celebration of Star Wars 40th Anniversary, It’s almost a year since I made a Star Wars custom Pop! and interestingly it was Rey as well.

This time, I made changes on the exisiting Rey with X-Wing Helmet. When I first saw this figure, I knew one day I would make this changes. I repainted the helmet to off white and hand painted all the details and did the weathering to make it old and rusty as seen on the movie . Rey’s body has been modified and re-sculpted to sitting form and added a plate of Portions Meal she got from Unkar Plutt. To finally add the mood and feel of the scene, I made this round base depicting the desert planet of Jakuu.

Riverspoons Studios The Joker & Harley Quinn Custom Pop! Figures

“It's all a joke! Everything everybody ever valued or struggled for... it's all a monstrous, demented gag! So why can't you see the funny side? “ - The Joker

Time to hit the beach for Joker & Harley! When I saw the Baywatch Pop figures, I had a wild idea repaint them as Joker & Harley. Joker was inspired from the Killing Joke Joker, and Harley as usual in her red and black suit. Really had fun working on this set, and puts a smile on my face.

Riverspoons Studios Marty McFly Custom Pop! Figure

“Mart… Eastwood…. Clint Eastwood” - Marty McFly

One from my childhood all time fave Back to the Future! Marty in his pink cowboy outfit from the 3rd movie of the trilogy. Originally, I planned to use Mike Teevee Funko Pop from Willy Wonka as my base figure. But upon reviewing the details I decided it would be much better to sculpt all the details on a clearer body rather than modify everything on an existing details. So I used Nathan Drake as the base body and then I sculpted most of the upper body details. I hope to add more from this line in the future. watch out for it! :)
